Vince began woodworking in 1978 in the 7th grade while attending Davis Jr. high school in San Jose California.  This was the first opportunity Vince had to work with wood.  Vince continued his woodworking education throughout Jr. high and high school by enrolling in woodshop classes each year.  During his senior year in high school Vince was asked to be the teacher's assistant while attending Oak Grove High School in San Jose California.  While attending college Vince also was able participate in a woodshop class while pursuing his Bachelor's Degree at Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Kentucky.  In August 2001 Vince began pursuing Woodturning more seriously.  He sectioned off a small area of his garage to allow him the need space to pursue his new hobby.  Today, there is only a small portion of the same garage not consumed with Woodturning equipment.  The once two in a half car garage is now a full time woodturning workshop.
