See what positive feedback fellow turners have to say about Vince's Abrasives and Supplies. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Wow Vince, these plastic backed discs really do work better than the paper I have been using for years! Your starter pack gave me the samples I needed for testing, and this order shows that I'm a convert-thanks! " Jamie http://www.jamiedonaldsonwoodturner.com/

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Vince, "I was in my shop when you called. I was
turning a pecan log. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- VincesWoodNWonders Came across this site while browsing an online discussion group and I have been very much impressed by Vince's products. The yellow backed sanding disc holders are great, more flexible than any other holders I have tried. They work very well for sanding inside and outside curves. I was even able to easily remove the endgrain tools marks from the undercut rim of this red elm bowl shown in the photo below.
The microhooks on the pads do have a more tenacious grip as claimed and the blue sanding discs do not seem to clog as readily as other discs I have tried. When they do clog they are very easy to "scrub" with a crepe rubber block. I keep one magnetically mounted to my ways whenever I am sanding. Most of my sanding is done wet using danish oil and these discs have held up very well. The soft innerface pads, being only about 7/16" thick, are soft enough to conform well to contours but firm enough to cut more aggresively than the standard 3/4" thick soft pads. All in all I think these products can add a significant new dimension to any woodturners sanding arsenal. Dear Vince
I must tell you that the blue disks are the best sanding system I have found yet for bowl turning! I have used many systems over the years, and these are the best. I resurrected a 1/4'' B&D drill that I purchased as a newly wed in 1960 to use as motive power. It still works (same wife, also) .
