I have a few wood turning tool handles in my shop and this handle is the favorite! It is made of 6010 Aluminum drilled to fit the lathe tool and secured with two set screws. It has a awesome comfortable grip which makes the tool a pleasure to hold and use. This handle is perfect weight providing an overall balance and comfort. It is the perfect combination of durability and comfort.
This woodturning tool is held 2" into the shaft. Double setscrews hold the tool firmly. These tools are currently available in 16" and 20".
***16" will hold a 3/8" tool. (North American 3/8" tool size refers to the outside of the tool!)
